"Handshake" Banister
Adrian has just completed the installation of this very beautuful banister for private clients in Derby. A internal pieces, it features hammer textured uprights and 13 "handshake" joints. In discussions about a design for the banister Adrian and his clients happened across a hand rail by Master German Blacksmith Alfred Habermann featuring this method of joining steel. Adrian created a design incorporating the detail.
